    Internship Description

    The International Space Federation is looking for a dedicated Operations

    Coordinator intern to work on global operations. You will report to and support

    our global Head of Operations. This is your opportunity to get a 360 view and

    understanding of a business’ operations.

    Responsibilities

    • CheckedDesign a new efficient and sustainable organization for the department’s records and implement it.
    • CheckedIdentify key improvements in existing processes and design a plan of actions to implement change.
    • CheckedDesign templates to improve the efficiency of processes, test them with the team and optimize them based on their feedback.
    • CheckedDevelop standard business policies such as travel policy, BCM, employee guidebook.
    • CheckedSetup the annual agenda of projects and maintain the timeline up-to- date based on the team’s inputs.
    • CheckedOrganize conferences from end to end: vendors sourcing, team coordinating, participants management
    • CheckedPlan events in detail from pre-event preps to post-event closure of accounts.
    • CheckedAssist with logistics, fulfillment and shipping internationally.
    • CheckedAssist in inventory coordination between fulfilment centers, production and customer support.
    • CheckedImprove customer experience on the e-commerce part of the business: packaging, customer support, shipping.

    Who You Are

    • CheckedShort experience in a similar role.
    • CheckedFluent in English.
    • CheckedTech savvy, proficiency in MS Office suite, project management software, e-commerce platforms and inventory softwares.
    • CheckedGood project management skills are essential.
    • CheckedMethodical, organized, excellent attention to detail.
    • CheckedSolid verbal and written communication skills.
    • CheckedEager to learn, curious and hard working.
    • CheckedAbility to deal with people at all levels across a multicultural environment.
    • CheckedSound judgment and ability to maintain and respect confidentiality
    • CheckedCapacity to work autonomously and as a team player.
    • CheckedEmpathetic and enthusiast.
    • CheckedMission-driven and eager to create a positive impact in the World.
