The WFPHA invites applications for a remote Translator internship. This role is ideal for students or graduates with a strong background in languages and an interest in global public health. The intern will play a critical role in translating public health materials, contributing to global health communication and education.

Responsibilities

  • CheckedTranslate public health documents and materials into multiple languages.
  • CheckedCollaborate with public health professionals to ensure accurate translation of technical terms.
  • CheckedParticipate in data collection and analysis for public health education and communication projects.
  • CheckedAssist in preparing materials for international conferences and workshops.

Who You Are

  • CheckedProficiency in English and at least one other language.
  • CheckedCurrently a student or holding a graduate degree in Translation, Languages, or a related field.
  • CheckedStrong interest in public health, communication, and education. Proficient in MS Office and Google Drive.
  • CheckedExcellent writing and translation skills.
  • CheckedAbility to work in a multicultural and international environment.
  • CheckedGood team player with a proactive attitude.
  • CheckedCapable of multi-tasking and meeting deadlines.
