Internship Description

Join a high-tech company as a Mechanical Engineer Intern, where you'll be involved in the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems for satellites. Your tasks will include simulation, prototyping, assembly, integration, and testing. You will support the creation of engineering documents and conduct feasibility studies to evaluate design concepts. This role requires close cooperation with systems, software, and electrical engineers. Ideal candidates should have at least a Bachelor's

Responsibilities

  • CheckedDesign, development, & testing of various mechanical systems for f.ex. satellites incl. simulation & prototyping as well as assembly, integration & testing;
  • CheckedSupport the creation of engineering drawings, specifications & docs;
  • CheckedCarry out FS & other tech assessments, so as to evaluate various design concepts & propose solutions (innovative);
  • CheckedStructural & thermal analyses;
  • CheckedIn close cooperation with systems, software & el. engineers integrate mech comps into sat platforms.

Who You Are

  • CheckedB-Mech is a minimum requirement; MSc Mechanical Engineering is preferable;
  • CheckedProficient in CAD software (f.ex. SolidWorks);
  • CheckedExperienced with Product Data Management;
  • CheckedWell-drilled with FEA software (Comsol Multiphysics);
  • CheckedSome experience with MATLAB and/or Python would be considered an advantage.
